| The main aim of this website is to summarize the status of birds that have been reliable recorded in the Western Palearctic (WP) at least once since 01 January 1800. On this website you can find a list of all bird species reliable recorded in the WP. For each species the status is listed per country. Species which have been recorded in a country less than 25 times are listed with full record details. Besides the species list, information on taxonomy, Rarities Committees, WP boundaries and sources can be found. We hope this website will be a valuable resource for detailed information on the status of birds occurring in the WP. |
